陳祺欣,生於香港,2008年獨自前往臺灣就學與生活至今,在臺完成藝術管理學位及肄業於臺北藝術大學電影創作學系碩士班導演組。

 

2012年拍攝紀錄片《關於舞蹈的幾種發生》後開始創作,2017其首部導演劇情短片《漩渦》入圍第十一屆香港鮮浪潮國際短片節、第十七屆南方影展劇情類競賽單元、2018金穗獎學生作品類最佳劇情片以及受邀高雄電影節短片視窗觀摩單元等,創作關注亞洲家庭、青年與社會結構等議題。

此外專業領域涵蓋各項影像製作,其製片作品《超級禁忌 Super Taboo》以雙頻道錄像形式入圍2017鹿特丹國際影展金虎獎短片類競賽,隔年二度以製片作品《屁眼‧淫書‧速克達 The Walker》入選鹿特丹官方選映、德國波昂美術館錄像藝術雙年展等,亦投身於跨領域藝術及紀實類影片製作與剪輯,其擔任共同攝影及助理剪接紀錄長片《你找什麼?》入圍第54屆金馬獎最佳紀錄片、未來將專注以獨特多樣的製作經驗投身並籌備全新的劇情片創作。

 

Ki-Yan, Chan was born in Hong Kong  and has lived in Taiwan since 2008. She is in the process of finishing her B.A in art management and Incomplete filmmaking at Taipei National University of the Arts.

 

In 2012, she started her first film, a modern dance documentary Once.In 2017,Trapped is her short fiction film, concern in Asia Youth and Social structure.Trapped was selected for the Hong Kong Fresh Wave Short Film Competition,Kaohsiung Film Festival-Out of Competition-SHORT FILM PANORAMA,South Taiwan Film Festival-Chinese Films Competition,Golden Harvest Awards for Outstanding Short Films.
 

In addition, in the professional field on editing, video and documentary production, Ki-Yan serve as a photographer  and assistant editing of the  film "looking for?'' was selected  for the 54th Golden Horse Awards 2017. Aslo she is a producer of the short film ''Super Taboo'', was selected for the 2017 Rotterdam International Film Festival-Golden Tiger Awards short film competition and the short film ''The Walker'', was selected for the 2018 IFFR Perspectives Programme. She will focus on directing with a unique production experience in the future.
